Guest photographer Stephen Bode will lead us through a macro photography session that is sure to be both fun and informative. And, there will be a variety of props to shoot at three macro tables.

Stephen writes:

The objective is to refresh your interest or introduce the amazing world of Macro Photography. We will discuss different field and studio techniques, explore the wide range of professional and improvised equipment/lighting that can be used, and get hands-on practice in capturing close-up images of flowers, creatures and found objects.

It is also an opportunity to find out within your camera Brand groups, what useful, undiscovered features your camera may have that can be used in Macro applications. These may include features such as manual focus magnification and in-camera focus stacking.

Please bring along your cameras and tripods (and macro lenses if you have them) for a fun and informative night.
